Outstanding CdB. This has a very focused balance of expressive tart red fruits, with elegant structure and a nice whiff of natural vinification on the nose. Blind I would put it between the natty focus of Guy Breton’s better cru wines with the extracted and floral overtones of high quality Fleurie and Julienas producers. A very pretty Morton, shimmering and pure. Lovely acidity, plush in the middle with unbaked strawberry-rhubarb character. Finish is long with iron and other mineral notes. Ready for action.
