The kind of dry but still interesting rose that comes in a bucket with five more bottles of the same on a beach in the south of France. I’m a fan. — 7 years ago
What a great wine, nose full of black berries and plums by the bucket load. Soft tannins and that balance that I crave and a finish that lasts forever. Need to buy some! — 7 years ago
Splurge night! What the heck? La Tache by the ounce. Why not. I can now say I have tried it. Not sure how to describe and rate this wine. On the one hand I know the pedigree. On the other hand I know my palate and what I like. I think the wine has some great character but I find the acidity to be well beyond what I like in a wine. The minerality and earthiness comes across well before the fruit. Not sure that is the order I like. I know I will never buy a bottle of this wine but I have always wanted to taste it. Check off that item from my bucket list. — 8 years ago

That is an outdoor ice bucket on the table wine. Bring on the shellfish, pasta, baguettes and butter. — 10 years ago
I don't often drink a glass of beer but my husband does so I taste a lot of different kinds. I took a sip of this one and said, " i love it, pour me my own glass!" Well balanced, and I do not typically like mango flavor, this harmony is one worth trying. — 10 years ago
Tastes amazing like smooth juice - I could drink this by the bucket. Amazing 2008 wine — 6 years ago
€16 on the restaurant wine list for a Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah blend. At one of the nicest restaurant in San Quirico D’Orcia, a small commune in the Tuscan hills, but weren’t impressed with our food selections. Wine was pleasant but not a lot of depth. Served from their cabinet above the refrigerators, so we needed to cool it off a few degrees in an ice bucket. — 7 years ago
So good, even on day two being left open in a bucket overnight. — 8 years ago
Second red wine at Table #4 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.
Deep ruby red with a touch of garnet. Mute nose to start but still tight with barnyard and meaty undertones. Some dark berries, and perfume. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) with a rich palate. Dark berries, gravel, spices and twigs. Full bodied with a long and dry finish. Drink till 2028. (91+) — 9 years ago
A very enjoyable wine with crackers and cheese. Seems like it would work for any occasion. I appreciate the chemistry drawings on the label. — 10 years ago

Getting some air, and warming up from a rest in the ice bucket...
I love how this bottle is developing!
Nose is full on yellow peach, fresh cut grass, mineral dust and a new aroma, crushed celery leaf, interesting...
Palate has fading acidy 😊, fresh peach and lemongrass, still fresh and lively with a medium length finish.
We have a few bottles left, looking forward to seeing how this continues to evolve over the next 4-5 years. — 8 years ago

Delicious, medium finish, slightly acidic yet slightly buttery. Bright. Pairs well with nearly anything. Great for summer sipping. Paired nicely with souvlaki and tzatziki with lemon rice. — 6 years ago
