Cloudy AF. Super sour in a way that matched the tartness and gaminess of a yogurt sauce on lamb meatballs. Ocean spray & hi-c juice. — 5 years ago

Elegant and supple with all that Lopez soul. Solid core of red cherry and plum fruit framed by wet earth, leather, wet tobacco leaf, mushroom, dried dill, vanilla. Palate showed a surprising amount of primary notes I didn't expect. A soft and fleshy expression that is definitely reminiscent of Burgundy. — 9 years ago
Smoky, creamy, floral, DELISH — 10 years ago
There is smokey start to this nose, with a bit of vanilla and red forest fruits and maybe raspberries. Quite interesting but rthe smokyness is strong. The palate is well balanced with a creamy touch, a nice red forest fruit note all along, a soft mouthfeel and a good width. Very gentle tannins in mid palate and a rather long fruity finish. This is very well made! First Brazilian wine and a good first impression — 5 years ago
Words “Anam Cara” are Celtic for “friend of my soul.” Nick and Sheila have made wines since planting grapes in 2001. Pale lemon with aromatic aromas of ripe tropical, stone & citrus fruits. On the palate tart apple and melon flavors, with a crisp citrus tang. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity with rich ending. Drinking well now. Nice value. — 6 years ago

Super interesting co-fermented blend of 45% Petite Sirah, 45% Roussanne, 6% Grenache and 4% Syrah.
Deep and dark purplish red. Layered nose with tons of dark chocolate floating out of the glass. Layers of dark berries, black pepper, white pepper, purple floral notes, spices and herbs. Got a bit more savory and gamey as it opened up. Moderate tannins (6.6/10) and medium plus body. Kept getting fuller as it breathed. Big and juicy with dark cocoa, tight dark berries, bramble, dark spices, a touch of heat and anise in the finish. Long and lingering finish. Quite heavy and needs some time to fully integrate. Great wine. Drink from 2019 till 2026.
