Jennifer Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Some of you know this wine is special to me since @Diana L and I serendipitously helped sort these grapes during crush in 2014. Time in bottle has brought out some nice complexity; crushed blackberries, backyard mint, blueberry pie, road tar, venison jerky, briar berry, campfire, dried herbs, garrigue, field stones, molasses. Perfect balance of fruit and acidity. Nicely textured tannins grip on the finish. Such a great expression of Moon Mountain fruit handled by the master @Erich Bradley — 7 years ago

Monterey Pinot Noir 2016

Jörgen Lindström Carlvik
9.2

A true candidate for proprietor Bradley Brown’s best generic PN to date. Bursting with ripe strawberries and loamy mineral scents, this medium bodied offering show a stemmy tannic grip and loads of juicy freshness. This is exactly what many US producers are aiming for, but few delivers. — 8 years ago

Repris

Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

This is actually the 2012 Cave Selection Cab, not surprised it's not listed on Delectable; only one barrel produced. We had the chance to try it out of barrel in 2014 and order an allocation. @Erich Bradley is doing such great things at Repris and this is probably my favorite wine of his to date. Lush, lush Sonoma fruit; a wall of fruit up front - juicy blackberry and blueberry pie. Hints of tar and kalamata olive. Minerals and nice acidity give this a sense of weightlessness even with such a rich, velvety mouthfeel. The finish lingers; rich dark soil, green peppercorns, more blueberry and blackberry, mint and bay leaf. Stand out. Erich, bring back the barrel futures program at Repris!!! — 10 years ago

Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

A truly spectacular wine. It’s Godzilla wearing a pair of Cinderella slippers. It will tip toe across your palate effortlessly and with finesse but demands your full attention and respect while never letting go of you. The finish is stunningly long & begs you to take another sip 🙌👏👏🙌😘.
Thank you Bradley for a badass tasting and for your hospitality which was 2nd to none
Our stay was a winning bid from the Palm Beach Wine Auction and I’ll make sure we win this one again next year!!!!! The entire Lokoya team are Rockstars! Bradley, Brian, Leona and one of the best chef’s on the planet Tracey Shepos Cenami!!! Thank you for an Epic stay atop of the wine world!

Fantesca

Russian River Valley Chardonnay

Vertical of 2008-2011. All quite similar, except for the 2009, seemed to oxidize a bit quicker. More of a toasted/nuttiness to it. All had great balance, bright fruit, slight toast and great acid. Really fun to try a lineup like this. Thanks Bradley! — 8 years ago

Ferrington Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

This is the ‘15 Ferrington single vineyard (not showing up on Delectable). Such a baby, needed an hour to become approachable. Crystal clear flavors - black cherry hard candy, autumn leaves, Mexican coca-cola, dried mushrooms, strawberry jam, black truffle, dried herbs. Burgundian winemaking style by @Erich Bradley using new world fruit. — 9 years ago

@David L I have the spring releases, need to order the two fall releases, they called while I was away. I haven’t tried the single vineyard Chards yet, still drinking my 14s. Might do a Chard today to compare to the 14
Joe Lucca

@Mike R enjoy! Let me know what you think. I believe you have the ‘14 which is a blend of vineyards. In ‘15, they moved both the Chard and Pinot to single vineyard designations.

Audelssa Estate Winery

Tempest Red Blend 2008

Lots going on here: stems, aged French oak, dense dark cherry, clove and anise, earthen undertone. Finishing strong. Mouthfeel is perfect as with any Bradley-made wine. Enough acidity to pair well with ribeye. My last Audelssa bottle...😢 — 10 years ago

Coastview Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

Bill Bradley straight killing it! Blueberry cedar, cherry compote (Rainer) with a aged light red Rainer cherry acidity it's pure loveliness! It stands up against lightly seasoned sous vide ribeye. Silky but your pursuit of the subtleties will give way to nice tannic grip, but it shows some velvet. Melts the fat and sticks around to shake your hand after. — 11 years ago
