With lobster tortellini at The Boxwood London Hotel — 6 years ago
Addressed with a Sage pesto bucatini. Sunday lunch at boxwood with David Denisch and Jeem. Good acid to cut through the pesto. Low alcohol at 11.5% which was pleasant. Breeze came up and made for a most pleasant afternoon. Life is good, grab it! Sicily unleashed in a glass.

I'll admit, I'm always happy to have a Nicolas Thienpont wine in my glass. The Thienpont family are associated with other great Bordeaux properties including Puygueraud, Pavie Macquin and one of my personal favorites, Vieux Château Certan. The 2014 Les Charmes Godard is slightly austere, with pronounced herbaceousness. Smoky minerality swirls around boxwood, cherimoya and gooseberry notes. It's lean and racy on the palate, lightly hemmed in by oak. Here lime zest, white grapefruit, and white pepper take the center stage. — 8 years ago
Wegmans, C light straw, N smokey, oak, boxwood, T citrus up front followed by smokey and toasted almond, dry — 9 years ago
A beautiful gem. Individual, racy. Great tension. Enjoyed over two days. Obvious notes of wood but well integrated but suggesting further airing necessary. Bright, mineral and straight the next day. Wax, lemon, boxwood and mineral. Restrained, great depth of flavours! Few bottles left... — 10 years ago

Wonderful Cab Sav, Franc, Merlot blend with exquisite full flavor. Gift from my new boss, one of her favorites. — 7 years ago
My 2017 Italian white exploration continues. Made with three obscure grapes and some Chardonnay, Regaleali has much to offer: green apple aromas, pear and straw flavors, and a bit of boxwood shrub -- that's right, boxwood shrub! Aging without oak keeps the fruit and acidity very lively and refreshing. — 8 years ago

This wine had such dank freshness I wish we could drink it again and again and again — 8 years ago
All the right notes and balance. Full body, meaty, earthy, with hints of chocolate. Yum — 9 years ago
Cats on freshly cut boxwood, grapefruit, and apples. Pure, bright, acidic refreshment! — 10 years ago
One of my favorite Orin Swift wines. Dark purple hue. Nose of blackberry, currents, boxwood. Full bodied, jammy, light tannins. Flavor of black cherries, blackberries, raspberries... Very smooth. Love it! — 5 years ago

Smells of lemon zest and sunlit grass. Medium body. Silky with a finishing tang. Tastes of sunflower with a back note of boxwood — 7 years ago

Peach gardenia light bodied honeysuckle green apple boxwood. Pairs surprisingly well with st nectaire — 9 years ago
Even concentration, very pale, brilliant, straw with a slight tinge of green. Medium plus aromatics, grapefruit, grassy, boxwood, aloe, salinity. Medium body, medium plus acid is juicy and extremely refreshing to the palate, medium plus alcohol 13% is well integrated and offers no heat or viscosity. Medium finish is bursting with lemon lime juice, flint, greengage, and a touch of bitter lime zest. Excellent palate cleanser. Old world Sauvignon blanc made in a new world style. — 10 years ago
Organically grown. Biodynamic. 100% estate. Pure Napa Valley. Our Sauvignon Blanc has a light straw color with slight green hue. Delicious and enticing aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit, lychee and boxwood leap out of the glass. A brisk and refreshing acidity enlivens the mouth feel. The acidity is balanced by a rich body achieved by stirring the lees. The finish is very long with a long reminisce of passion fruit. — 13 years ago

Matias Riccitelli is one of Argentinas Young Guns and a beam of light in the countries wine scene crafting wines with plenty of soul and character. The Blanco de la Casa is is much more than just a label. A very smart varietal blend of 40/40/20 Sauv Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay all sourced from high altitude in Uco Valley, fermented and matured in concrete eggs. A playful and serious wine at the same time. Lemon, boxwood and underripe tropical fruit with a pronounced salty and stoney core. Electric texture on the palate with a fresh acidity and a persuasive length — 5 years ago
