This is an incredible wine for the price point and age. Big, bold, complex. One of my favorites in the $30 range. — 9 years ago
2006 vs 2013 tasting. While the 13 was big, bold and powerful the 06 still carried those traits but in a subdued manor with finesses. Looking forward to my shipment of 13 next spring and picked up some 06s to hold me over. Love the petit Verdot in this really gives it that silky feel and beautiful color. — 9 years ago
Intense. Bold. Rich. Dark. — 10 years ago
Jonathan picked this one out and I absolutely loved the spiciest. It's a nice, easy one to drink :) — 10 years ago
For the young age of this wine it is a great buy. Dark color and bold. On the palate you can taste a chocolate flavor. This is a great wine. — 11 years ago

Luvvvv it!! Bold & Beautiful! — 9 years ago
Lucious floral and fruit aromas followed by bold flavors of raspberry jam with subtle oak overtones. Well structured and balanced with great mouthfeel and a great lingering finish. One of my favorite big Pinot Noir's. — 10 years ago

I am not a fan of Pinot Noir but this one is delicious. Almost as bold and big as my favorite Washington reds. — 11 years ago
I love Honig - bold and jammy; lots of fruit and stands up to a big juicy steak. Love it. — 9 years ago
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
Full bodied and Bold, with high acidity and awesome legs.
After an hour of opening up, gorgeous nose with blackberries, blueberries, currants, chocolate, turmeric, vanilla, spices, cooked plums, figs, licorice and peppercorn.
Dry and fruity on the palate with black currents, figs, cherries, blackberries, dry fruits, vanilla, licorice, coffee, tobacco, Mediterranean spices and black pepper.
Long finish with spices, smooth tannins and tart cherries.
Really needs 1 hour to open up properly. Another great Cabernet from the Michael David house. Very enjoyable by itself or with a big juicy steak. I Paired it with a Moroccan chicken dish with lots of spices, and it held its own well.
This changed some from a year ago. Matured and not as abrasive.
15% alcohol by volume. — 9 years ago
Really loved the smoothness and bold but balanced fruit flavors. — 9 years ago
Fruity, bold, delicious. On the hot side, right where I like it. — 10 years ago
"Wow" was the initial nose and palate impression. The finish wasn't as strong as the first impression but nonetheless good bang for the buck at $185hkd (twice the California price... Yes, I need to move). — 10 years ago
Nice and bold, strong finish. Held up to the food. Very nice wine overall — 11 years ago

Possibly one of the finest wines I've tasted. Bold statement but this crushed a Sassacaia I had a week ago. Decanted about an hour and got mouthfuls of red berry, vanilla, leather, and silk. In 5 years...wow! — 8 years ago
