Dry white with fruity notes — 5 years ago
Enjoying a glass at Joseph Adler Inn and I’m quite pleased. Definitely buying a bottle on my next trip. — 7 years ago
Great zin!! Big and bold, but not as fruity as many zins. Had it with a beef sausage Blue Apron dish. — 8 years ago
On the nose, syrupy dark cassis, blueberries, black raspberry cola, pepper, spice & fresh violets. The palate is rich, full bodied, smooth, elegant & big....it well extracted! The flavors abound. Dark cassis, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries, blueberries, boysenberries, black licorice, dark chocolate, salted caramel, core of anise, tarry notes, thick medium spice, pepper, soft, leather, powdery slushy tannins, liquid violets, decayed dark florals, underbrush, bitty minerals, crushed rock powder & dark rich loamy soils. The acidity is like a waterfall over the palate. The long, elegant finish is rich, ripe fruits that really pop along with swirling spice-box. Photos of our April visit to MD...shots of the grounds & tasting room. This 07 still has 5-7 years ahead of it. — 8 years ago
Cherry, watermelon, raspberry, currant and hints of lemon. Good acidity and balance. — 8 months ago
Faint hint of brett, rustic but still fruity, pizza friendly GSM, with nice tannin once a bit aerated. Quite enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Very smooth like a cab. Great for the price. — 7 years ago
As good as it gets in Oregon PN. Lots of bright r fruit, spice ant the finish goes on and on. Just a great, enjoyable wine. — 7 years ago
Smells like a Pinot, looks like a Cab Sauv, body and finish of a Zinfandel. Aromas of gingerbread with flavors of red berries and even cranberry. Lots of sweet spicy notes. Let this one open up as it is a BIG Pinot Noir. Almost like Christmas in a glass. Outstanding! — 8 years ago
Made a big family dinner last Sunday night, not often we get everyone around the table with travel and sports, so kicked it up another notch with a lovely wine — 9 months ago
A great drinking wine on its own- wouldn’t say it flourishes with food. Super dry, big, bold, mouth full. — 4 years ago
Nice. Big fruit, but not as ripe as what I expected from a barossa Shiraz. Evolved with air. Finish only slightly herby. — 7 years ago
1982 vintage. Color still fairly youthful. Meniscus not too wide/watery. Brickish, minty nose with big cedar & baking chocolate flavors. Holding up better than expected for a fruity vintage. — 8 years ago

One of the faves for Shiraz. Big, bold, yet easy to drink. Punchy with black and red fruits, not to tannic. — 8 months ago
