The good stuff, old school peppery black fruit zin, with rabbit tobacco and rain touched moss on the nose, adding to the old school Clapton blues rifts filling the air at my hometown local bistro (SoundSide; check the fresh locally grown organic vegetables and our ocean ahi sashimi/homecomings can be so sweet, like owner/operator Lauren) all so groovy😎, not unlike Ravenswood, itself/themselves...

I love it when you can have a big, slutty, oaked up Zin and still have it come across as relatively restrained in the category. Some days you just want to go there with a grilled rib eye. Still could use a couple years to settle in, though. — 10 years ago

2013 Juvenile Zin. Blended from 15 vineyards, but nothing over 25 years old. Big, raspberry, currant, cinnamon aromas. Taste is more restrained with currant, blackfruit, and a mineral edge. Tastes cooler than its 15.4% self. — 11 years ago
