Bergerie De La Bastide

La Bastide Blanche

Bandol Mourvedre Blend 2023

Pretty salmon in color.

Fresh on the nose and medium in body with medium plus acidity.

Showing sweet raspberries, cherries, spices and light earth.

Dry on the palate with an elegant finish.

Rich and fresh. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. Fruit forward and elegant. Spicy and entertaining. Interesting stuff.

I liked it much better than the 2022 vintage.

A blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache and 30% Cinsault. Organic and Biodynamic.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$20.

Bastide de la Ciselette

Bandol Rosé Blend 2022

The description: Mostly famous for its dark, rich and powerful reds, Bastide de la Ciselette offers a rosé with a full spectrum of aromas including wild raspberries, blood orange, ruby red grapefruit and white pepper. The mouth has a rich texture and notes of sage, rosemary and pink peppercorn.
The opinion: The description is accurate but and it’s very good but previous years better; normally mark it a 9 or better.

Nicolas Joly

Clos de la Bergerie Savennières Roche aux Moines Chenin Blanc 2016

Outstanding, showing primary and tertiary 50/50, lovely yellow and white fruits, salinity, some oxygen taking hold, florals, lanolin, and excellent acidity drives this into a long, complex finish. — 9 months ago
