Ah, the 2010 vintage of Ricardo Santos Malbec, a transcendental libation that beckons the soul into the labyrinthine depths of vinicultural exuberance. As I imbibed this elixir, my palate embarked on an odyssey through an enigmatic symphony of hedonistic flavors. The terroir speaks with the eloquence of a thousand poets, invoking an avant-garde pas de deux between dark fruit and enigmatic earthiness.
The tannins, oh, the tannins! Like philosophers engaged in a Socratic dialogue with one's senses, they debate their existence before yielding to a seductive silkiness that borders on a Vinous epiphany. Its finish lingers, not unlike the sermons of a zealous street preacher, echoing in the inner sanctum of one's mind.
In conclusion, Ricardo Santos' 2010 Malbec is a vinous riddle wrapped in an enigmatic enigma, destined to provoke laughter, tears, and existential contemplation. A masterpiece of humorous absurdity in a glass! — 8 months ago
One of my favorites. Love this wine but can never find it anymore! — 3 years ago
Bright and fresh, a little effervescent — 4 years ago
Smooth yet full bodied with ripe fruit on palliate. Medium finish. — 4 years ago
Absolutely incredible value for money. VERY fruit forward, with “Touriga Nacional” in the front of the queue, if you don’t like port or fruity wines, stay away from this one, but for an amazingly drinkable daily “Table Wine” at around AU$ 10.00 a bottle? This is a winner on every level.

Great wine with dinner. Got this at the children's auction. — 6 years ago
Drank on 1/3/2023. Fabulous with no breathing, fruit nose, but good finish with coffee and chocolate without falling apart. — 5 months ago
The elegant side of #grenache - High-toned strawberry + red floral elements on the nose, elegant creamy texture on palate, soft tannins, balanced acidity. Lovely wine from I. Brand & Family Winery. #centralcoastwine — 2 years ago
Smooth fruity aroma. Nuts and oak — 2 years ago
Super fun tasting through a selection of Dirty and Rowdy’s. While there wasn’t a bad bottle in this lineup, the 2017 Enz was lights out... Was a treat having the winemaker Hardy Wallace join us via Zoom. What we expected to be a 30min or so zoom call to walk us through the lineup turned into 2 hours of learning about the various vineyards Hardy works with and diving into his philosophy on wine. An afternoon I’ll never forget! Thanks Clare for making this happen! — 3 years ago
Tad unctuous, oily, grassy, lemons and limes.
Better after a few minutes and with food. — 4 years ago
Absolutely loved this wine! Well balanced and complex blend of 3 interesting grapes. — 5 years ago
Popped and poured, consumed over two days. Consistent throughout. The 2021 Mataro, San Benito County pours a deep ruby color moving toward magenta rim and a near opaque core. Medium viscosity with very light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine explodes with fresh, perfectly ripe bramble fruits: black berries and raspberries, purple flowers, black pepper, crushed rocky earth with limestone minerals and subtle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. The tannins are almost silky…but sneaky. Confirming the notes from the nose and the raspberries are even more obvious right now. The finish is long. This is an awesome Mataro that’s drinking really well right now and I anticipate a bright future too. Drink now through 3036. — 7 months ago

Crisp nose of unripe pear, honey and lime on the nose. Baked honey crisp apple, white flower, slight petrol on the palate. Lovely minerality and sense of terroir in this wine. — 4 years ago
Neighborhood wine store. Front end expected and typical, back end was a pleasant twist of under ripe white fruit with nice complexity. — 5 years ago
