Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. A nice Tempranillo Shiraz & Cab blend from an organic estate in Valle de Guadalupe Mexico, fantastic estate run by great people. This bottle is a very good blend, deep mineral flavor, low acidity, notes of wood and cherry, a bit of sweet and risemary. Loved it! — 10 years ago
Natural (no added sulfer/biodynamic) from Jura. Bright ruby red color with purple hue, the nose is fragrant with fresh red berries aromas mingled with meaty funk. Fresh palate. Finish- Red fruit flavors evolve with earthy, mineral, and peppery notes. — 10 years ago

After three days they were still enough tart tannins to coat your tongue. Write black and current berry, a little red fruit. Lush with medium acid. A good drink, but I’m still surprised at it’s tightness after three days. — 6 years ago

Wow! The nose on this is spectacular. Wild blueberries, spices, fresh walk in the woods, and flowers. The feel and flavor in the mouth are so great. More blueberries, herbs, spices with perfectly integrated tannins. A balance between bandol and new world. — 6 years ago
