Very surprised when I opened the wine list. My inner geek took over when I saw it was the same wine I consumed last week but a different vintage. A much less open and complex nose than the’11.
In the mouth this wine demonstrated greater freshness than the ‘11. Grapefruit like acidity put the fruit flavors at the forefront. Once again I was a little disappointed with the finish but I think in this case the wine truly needs time to unwind. — 7 years ago
An amazing full body on this one. Great balance and acidity. Stong aromas...notes of green peppercorn, candied plum, and a satisfying rasberry taste. Lots of gentle vanilla show a careful amount of oak influence. Great Chilean Carmenere! — 8 years ago
Outstanding mid aged Hunter Semillon. Extremes fresh, crisp and very, very good. Great life. - Phil Laffer — 9 years ago
JL Australian tasting 3/30/17. Citric nose and lemons. Balanced palate with acids and minerals and zest and good finish. Surprising! Value at $12.80. 11% ABV — 9 years ago
Lovely drop. Took some time to breath. Very smooth. — 10 years ago
New release chardonnay, absolutely nuts. — 10 years ago
Youthful and vibrant. Fresh black currant, mint, gravelly earthy notes, quite Margaux/Graves like. Smoky cedar, tobacco and dust. Medium bodied, with grainy tannin, good vibrant acid. Quite elegant for Chile! — 11 years ago
That bright lemon-lime zest shines through on this classic hunter valley semillon. Great typicity. — 12 years ago
Love this wine. — 13 years ago
Nutmeg, cherries, spice, oak. I love Barbera — 7 years ago
This was very good. Peppery but not too dry. — 8 years ago
Lovely yellow hue opens up a powerful nose filled with dirt, grass, rice, and honeysuckle. The palate proceeds to get smothered with a perfect amount of oak coupled with honey and lemon. A mildly tart finish makes this the perfect summer white. Great recommendation by the local rep and Happy 4th to everyone!....a mid-dinner update....massive green apple comes through with food! — 9 years ago
Such a gorgeous wine to drink! Any occasion! Will buy more of these. — 10 years ago

Yum! Not a wine expert so no meaningful flavor notes, but this was delicious. It was bright and tangy! — 6 years ago
Subtle lime & stoney fruit, a strong mid palate & some complexity (& from what I read the potential for aging) 10.5% alcohol, a lovely slight effervescence completely blows away my negative biases @ Australian wines. I though at firstThat 20$ was a tad pricey-& thats 20$ on sale, but after i finished the bottle, its a bargain. — 8 years ago
No oak. What the fuck?! Waxy, oaky (if possible), almost nutty. Sublime. — 8 years ago
I'm not typically a fan of off-dry reds, but this is exceptionally delicious! — 11 years ago
Inky and dark. Extremely full bodied. Dark fruits. Steak and chimichurri wine. — 11 years ago

Although young you can tell that this is a top scoring wine. Very voluptuous texture with a crazy long finish. Well worth the expensive price tag. — 6 years ago
