IXE Toscana Tempranillo 2018

Tempranillo of Tuscany. Deep ruby color, beautiful shine. Nose carried by a bouquet of roses and violet, cherry and ripe red fruits, spices. Mouth: Slight sweetness typical of Italian wines. The relationship between structure and acidity is interesting. Without much complexity, but well balanced. A little confused by the attractive approach of the whole and the possible inputs to achieve it.

Tempranillo de Toscane. Robe rubis, profonde, bel éclat. Nez porté par un bouquet de roses et violette, cerise et fruits rouges mûrs, plus épice. En bouche: Légère sucrosité typée des vins italiens. Le rapport entre structure et acidité est intéressant. Sans grande complexité, mais bien balancé. Un peu dérouté par l’abord séduisant de l’ensemble et les possibles intrants pour y parvenir.

Light cranberry red (darker than any rosé I’ve seen) with a very light nose (hard to guage). Clearly heavier body than typical rosé with a smooth slightly creamy feel. Taste of strawberry and red plum, a touch on the dry side, low tannins and mild acidity. Quite nice- — 3 years ago
