A new vintage - beautiful CDP, balanced and elegant. We decanted, but again this wine is jumping right out. Very nice. — 4 years ago
Acidity smoothed out with breathing. Strong plum. Made in steel instead of oak. — 6 years ago
Nose has smokey dry earth, dry lavender, old licorice, dried black cherry, ripe black currant, dried blackberry and (light) dried oak.
Palate has silky dried blackberry, ripe plum, black currant jam, (light) dark chocolate, dried blueberry and light tannins. Mouth coating texture. Future bottles should be 2023+
50% Grenache & 50% Mourvédre
Paired with a bottom round beef roast, slow cooked 8+ hours with autumn root vegetables and the au jus from the roast, thickened with a little of my own tomato paste, delicious. — 7 years ago

Sublime, medium weight but lovely and elegant with a spicy zing. Excellent sur la terasse as the sun goes down... — 9 years ago

Great Corberières from southern France! Ripe fruits, quite exotic, but fig is dominating. Tobacco leaves, graphite. Very powerful, seems noble but really drinkable!! Needs time to open
Dazu: Cassoulet a la Corbières - Entenkonfit - Haricot — 5 years ago
Lovely older Bandol, tree bark, redfruits, still some solid structure in this one, long, lingering finish. — 6 years ago

So good! Smoooooth, stone fruit with no sour or tangy components, something floral but not roses, delicious goes with everything not leaning sweet kind of white. — 4 years ago
Initially short but after breathing was really full. Dry. Mild oak. Great at $5/bottle . included in Laitheaite’s initial offer. Let it breathe before drinking! — 6 years ago
