Our som last night was the great grandson of the person the wine is named after. Referred to as the “boom boom wine” because his great grandparents had 18 kids, this wine was fantastic. Fruity but bold. A great example of what the San gimingano terroir has to offer. — 2 months ago

Very light and crisp with a herbal sage, over pear, and lemon. Light, pleasant, and a little vegetal. Gets fruitier if you let it warm up and bit with some orange blossom notes and tropical fruit. — 7 months ago
What a pretty wine. Gorgeous and grapey nose, spice, white pepper, jelly donut filling, and just so clean and vivid. Cesare has the touch. Palate is lush and juicy, with gorgeous fruit and such a subtle way about it. Really fine tannins and such incredible balance and delicacy. Such a sneaky persistent finish. This is so refined. I am blown away. What a wine. — 2 years ago

I think this is their reserve Syrah.
Hot, red fruit raisins. Dusty, citrus.
