Delicious Barolo. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite classic with an edge of modernity in the seamlessness of the finish. Great dark fruit, bit of earth and leather, excellent acid, tannins are obviously there but not overwhelming (especially with steak). Quite delicious. — 2 months ago
Tart cherry and perhaps strawberry. Some deeper notes, but not too strong. Light color. More fruit on the nose than in the mouth. — 3 months ago
This is a great Nebbiolo. It's well balanced. — 4 months ago
Enjoyed at Ricardo’s Jan 2025 with dinner. Delicious New World Chianti. — 6 months ago
Decanted for about nine hours. Fresh raspberries, cherries, and a bit of mushrooms. Very elegant. Full-bodied, but not quite as powerful as other Barolos I’ve had over the years. — 7 months ago
Much fruitier than the barbera but bolder and dryer as well. Sweet and almost sour note on nose. — 2 months ago
Love this wine. Clean, crisp. No bitterness. Taste of pears, green apple. — 2 months ago
Perfect balance of fruitiness and dryness per Särä — 2 months ago
This wine is medium dark garnet in the glass. The nose has a good supply of cherry and raspberry notes, dusted up with earth, tar and anise. The palate has a bit of licorice on it, but mainly serves as a showcase for the red fruit. There are some spicy elements, too. White pepper, nutmeg, and a very light clove sense brighten up the fruit. Tannic structure is firm and acidity refreshing. I had mine with a slow cooker red wine short rib dish, and the pairing was sublime. — 4 months ago

Good wine for a nice Italian dinner. Pairs well with a variety of food. Not incredible, but not going to break the bank either. — 9 months ago

Found at Costco. Floral tones - light and enjoyable. — 5 months ago
At first a blast of dark fruit, plum, blueberries, black currants and violet. Then a hint of green pepper then chocolate and wood. Super smooth integrated tannins, tiniest bit grippy at the end. Finish is loooong. Later as it opened some black tea also. Super. — 6 months ago

Less bold and slightly less dry than cerrata. More complex. Great nose of dark and red fruits and earth — 2 months ago
