This was an excellent wine. It sadly came from a friend’s caller who has passed recently but we raised a glass in his name. Thank you Vic — 7 years ago
Lively finish. Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellation as it best. 14% combining petit courbu and petit manseng grapes. — 8 years ago
Looks like chateau d'Yquem. Could drink it all day long- reminiscent of flavor of chateau as well — 9 years ago
Rich and ripe for a vic red. Bit jammy the next day. — 10 years ago
Had the 2017 at a home dinner combined with Raw marinated salmon trout with almond sherry. Perfect fit.
Good in minerals, full body but not too much — 6 years ago

Rejält mineraligt och kryddigt. Fylligt och moget men ändå fin syra och en liten bäska som är riktigt trevlig! — 9 years ago

National rum day.....waaahhhh, wine break.
Time for a Mai Tai...the original Trader Vic 1944 recipe...not those bastardized fruit juice/grenadine versions!
2 ounces good blended aged rums..I use 1 oz el Dorado 15 yrs and 1 oz 12 year Appelton estate
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce simple syrup
1/3 ounce orgeat syrup
1/2 ounce orange curacao
Combine all ingredients with 12 oz CRUSHED ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and pour..garnish with a mint sprig AND ENJOY!!!! — 7 years ago

Nice wine. Not sure where we got it. — 9 years ago
Still young and muscular, with good acidity and aromas of dark cherries, plums and vanilla. — 9 years ago
Awesome acidity all the way through. Tropical fruit, great balance. — 9 years ago
Glue-y nose a bit like an Hermitage blanc, broad palate, still very firm acids-- splendid with a fatty pork chop. Also great with live jazz. — 10 years ago
