A bit of reduction, savory and a slight bitterness like cherry stones. Oak integrated well with fine tannins. Awesome stuff from Trevor Mast.

Still drinking well despite not the best of years. Fruit is starting to fade to show more black tea and leather. Probably not a lot left in the tank but very nice regardless.

2000 vintage equal wine of the day. Still elegant and fruit driven with a well balanced core. Elements of the terrior present in the mineral backbone and slatey mid palate, bright cherries and spices abound. A ripper of a wine.
