Matchstick and stone nose, full and acid and long mouth. Weird and great. — 9 years ago
It has been a while since I found an inexpensive wine that thrills me the way this one does. The flavor hits all the right notes in the mouth. It has a very pleasant feel on the tongue. And even though it is a dry red, it isn't so dry it makes me pucker. It really makes me say "aah". And then take another sip. This is the highest rating I have given any wine I've tried. — 10 years ago

2010 vintage that is drinking really well. Dark fruit, leather, pepper with the robust tannic finish you expect from Tannat. Proof this varietal is a hit in Texas and that you shouldn't be afraid to try a lone star state bottle — 10 years ago
Wild strawberries. Well balanced. Lingers quite a bit. — 10 years ago
Very complex nose. Nice finish. — 11 years ago

Not that familiar with Zin but had a good mouthfeel, not much tannin, strawberry up front and was good with steak. — 8 years ago
So tart. So juicy. Limited release by my favorite wine maker Bow & Arrow. Had to post if only for this beautiful bottle. — 9 years ago
Baked cherry pie, cranberries, sour cherries, smoke. A bit fruit forward but bright tangy acidity balances the palate. Good with anything tomato & basil. — 10 years ago
Dig this. Translucent, moves and pricks your palate, familiar forrest floor. Autumnal. — 12 years ago
Very strange and wonderful. — 13 years ago
