Dry zinger, but with some salinity and fruitiness poking through. First Vin de Savoie I truly liked. — 4 years ago

Wow, what an undervalued wine! So aromatic, rich mushroom and foraged raspberry. Warm ripe fruit so well balanced with high pitched acid. Doing lots of nice things for my brain. Love this region and this style! ⛰🍄🍓 — 7 years ago

Lots of dark fruit—dark cherry, blackberry, plum. Dense. Slightly perfumed. Tannic. Easy to enjoy. — 9 months ago
Love! Floral, subtle dry. Delish! — 4 years ago
Toasty biscuit, tart apricot, lime zest in the bouquet. Stone fruit, cave minerals, lemon curd, hints of golden apple on the palate. Zesty bubbly that’s well balanced... Happy New Year!! — 5 years ago
100% Roussanne.
Nose...If I ever had a white that I could tell you was "oily" this is that wine. Caramelized honey, pear, guava and wet clay.
Palate is hazelnut butter, macerated pear, over-ripe apricot. F...this is an amazing bottle, I don't happen across Roussanne like this everyday, or like ever! — 7 years ago
Golden, slightly oxidative, beaming acid, medium + body weight. Very Chablis like. $15 retail price and $30 like character. Very age worthy. — 7 years ago
Mmm, delicious. Altesse is likely my favorite Savoie white. While I live how Jacquere can almost have this ethereal quality to it, very pure mountain air kind of feel, Altesse brings this weight and depth which is really intriguing. This 2016 is just starting to show a little oxidation, but in a gracefully aged sort of way. Apple skin, delicate white flowers, slight brioche, lemon zest and loads of minerality on the finish. Delightful. — 3 years ago

Opened 10 days ago. Just a bit too oxidized but after a few days in Cali bothers it settled down and be a serviceable food wine, good acidity, not much complexity, oxidation blew off. — 8 months ago
