My first Armenian wine. Made with Haghtanak grape, a Soviet-era hybrid between Armenian varietals and Georgian Saperavi. From vineyards in the Ararat Valley, 35 km west of Yerevan. Fermented in steel tanks and aged 7 months in Caucasian oak barrels. Dark ruby/purple color. Dark fruit, vanilla and oak on the nose. Some herbal notes. Full-bodied, big, quite bold and round on the palate. Pomegranate flavors. Tannic. Good value — 4 years ago
Very crisp and light. Tropical notes with lychee and lemongrass . Only Armenian wine I’ve found in Dallas! Great for our hot summers! — 4 years ago

Armenian field blend with Turkish tapas. Love being introduced to indigenous rare European varieties. — 6 years ago
Clear pale yellow with crisp flavors of pear and honeysuckle with a hint of creaminess and strong minerality. This aromatic wine with its high acid, medium bod and clean but long finish is something I would definitely revisit again and again. This is a varietal and region worth continued exploration. — 2 years ago

Loved this! Medium weight, easy drinking red with bright little acid-and-tannic notes, strawberry jam up front, sort of a plum cassis thing in back… delish!! — 4 years ago
Phenomenal QPR. Really interesting wine. Great acidity. I liked it. They apparently make some higher end bottling, I’d love to try them. — 4 years ago
