Very drinkable, quite sweet as Pinot Grigio goes though. — 9 years ago
Tangerine in colour with a brassy note. Pinot Grigio is a red skinned variety. 8 months on skins. A fascinating wine the likes of which one only sees in Italy. Nose of earthy minerality with profound intensity from the skin contact with cherry and red apple notes. A cross between Pinot Noir and Rose as an overall experience. Unique. — 9 years ago
Solid garnet. Nose of rose, tar, earth and red fruits. Palate adds leather, orange rind and dark cherry. Tannins still a bit harsh and drying. Great complexity and depth. Will it integrate even more?**** traditional barbaresco which made the meal. — 10 years ago
More tannic than the 2012 vintage. Darker fruit profile too. 😍 these wines — 11 years ago
Just fell apart over this.
Peach and wet stone on the front and the acidity flushes into caramel and grapefruit. A LOT happening for a reasonable summer bottle. Order by the case. — 11 years ago

So dense and velvety ... notes of burgundy with charred citrus and sandalwood... touches of rose but extracted red fruit ... desiccated cherry with tobacco, clay, and bramble. Super concentrated for Willamette. — 7 years ago
Why can’t more Rosé be like this?? — 7 years ago
WNH event number 4. Perfect Pizza Pairing bottles. Not a bad bottle in the bunch!
My contribution. I was told that even though this is a Rosé, it drinks like a pinot. Couldn’t agree more. Dark ruby in the glass. Aromatically it was ripe strawberry, sage and vibrant citrus notes. Concentrated, yet light on the palate. Bing cherry, dragon fruit, watermelon finish. Incredible Rosé that should be viewed as a pinot. — 8 years ago

Chewy and reverberating. Really classic decomposing rose bushes and garden herbs. Clarity of fruit and beautiful structure. A long walk in fall blackberry fields. — 10 years ago
Earthy, spiced and delicately toasty oak influence. Plummy, liqurice, dark cherry and spicy/toasty oak influence. Firm youthfull tannins and fresh acidity supporting balnced structure. +15 years, 90p — 12 years ago
Tar, underbrush, anise, rose, raspberry. Bracing but not aggressive tannins. Really nice. Not as exciting the second night, which leads me to think it's at or near its peak. I've got more, so let's do this @Larry Frierson ! — 7 years ago
A really good Pinot — 8 years ago
Amazing how young this still is, but after it opened up I found myself just kept smelling it. In tertiary flavor territory. Rose, cherry, light tar, and rich wood notes on the nose almost perfectly mirrored on the palate followed by a crazy long finish. Beautiful wine, that once again I drank way to soon. Patience is a New Years resolution. — 9 years ago

Slightly acidic, drinks like a rose.

From P&V:
Smells like ginger-lemon tea! Also shows some mandarin juice, dried mixed citrus peel and wet stone scents. Nice one. Chewy texture with talc-like tannins in a weave over juice, ginger-lemon tea flavours. Exceptional texture, length, vitality and structure. A serious white wine of great drinkability and detail. Friendly enough too. — 7 years ago
