Drank this with a filet mignon and brussels+panchetta at 1875 Steakhouse in French Lick, Indiana. Surprised I went with this over the Malbec option. Very chewy tannins that demand accompaniment. Houston’s very own Del Frisco’s Grille is sadly shutting down. So, as it was with their fine steakhouse concept ‘Sullivan’s’ when it closed down, they’re doing a 50% off promotion for ALL alcohol. Needless to say...we have a few dinners lined up with our Supper Club and other friends before they shutter their doors for good on 9/16.
