Needs an hour to integrate. Then is majesty. Nose of a tropical fruit basket. Palate is mineral and the essence of tropical fruit - guava papaya. But not overwhelming as it lives with the minerality. Brightly acidic. Moderate pleasant richness. An iconic northern Rhône white. Bought from Fass selections. — 6 years ago
Wow. Amazing distinctive wine. Nose is searingly fresh cherry cherry flower and a hint of cherry liquor. Palate is fresh cherries and some awesome spice. So fresh and juicy. A hint of spatburgundery bitterness. Amazing wine. So delicious but also unique and complex. Bought from Fass Selections ... as this opens the brightness integrates and the internal aromatics become more prominent. Some licorice on the finish. At the very high end of delicious. I hope I have some of this to try in a few Years. It could be profound. — 7 years ago

Needs an hour. Dont waste sips before then. Maybe needs 2 hours. Density creeps up over time.
Nose is gorgeous sweet earth. Cranberry flower. An our in this is grand cru. Hard to describe but gorgeous deep and dense. Amazing cranberry perfume. You duck it in and it seems like a half a sniff fills the nostrils.
Palate is perfect sweet cranberries. Gorgeous texture. Incredible purity. As this opens more delicious. Just seeps into the palate. Almost this cherry anise cranberry otherworldly thing. Some spice. This vintage is more very good 1er cru on the palate. Very good but not elite density. But very good. Some cranberry licorice as this opens.
Finish is cranberry flower extract. So clean and pure and elegant. Wow. Elite finish. Sticks to the palate and just sits there defiantly. Eff you. I’m not leaving.
Needs air.

Lovely evening with very lovely dinner guests...this guy the second of two different bottles enjoyed this evening. Right out of the gate showed strong dark fruit especially plum to the nose...on the palate strong blueberry, plums slight pepper a bit a leather. Med plus finish and very delicious. — 7 years ago
More on the delicious end of the scale on open. Very fruity tangerine. Citrus. Awesomely mineral of course. Nice acidity. Lovely nose. As it opens becoming more serious. Rocky finish. ... fast forward 15 minutes. Ok ... now it’s liable. I’m chewing on rocks in a lemon vineyard. Best lemons ever. Sweet lemons with the acidity of regular lemons. Ok that makes no sense unless you are a lemon geek. Nose is insane. Gods lemon oil. Mad love. Bought from Fass Selections. — 7 years ago
When the price of this doubles in a few years grown men and women will be weeping that they didn’t buy more. Myself included. Explosive fruit and minerality. More than enough balancing acidity for the 15 acidity alarmists. As this opens it has palate expansiveness. My gut is that this will improve with more age. Wow. Bought from Fass Selections. Ok an hour in this is killing it. Profound wine. — 7 years ago
Love this Zinfandel. Spicey berry and medium bodied. Not too fruity like a lot of Zinfandel. Getting more! — 10 years ago
Super funk. Love it. — 6 years ago
Nose is heaven. Tar roses earth. Some anise. Palate is medium density cherries with great acidity. Finish is so long and juicy. Licorice just coats the palate and lips. Really lingers. Wow. Bought from Fass Selections. ... great texture. Amazing internal aromatics. Black cherry liquor and licorice and chicory and spice. Amazing. Sweet licorice finish. Love this. — 7 years ago
