Andes Grapes

Domaine Serene

Yamhill Cuvée Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

Elegant Ruby color with red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for about 12 months in French oak, signature blend of grapes from Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of herb, licorice and wet stone notes. Soft dusty tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy notes. Very Nice! Drinking well now! — 7 months ago

Louis Latour

Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2021

All of the grapes from the vineyards owned by the Latour family are vinified and aged in the cuverie of Château Corton Grancey in Aloxe-Corton. The winery was the first purpose-built cuverie in France and remains the oldest still-functioning. Medium pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits with a slight nutty floral character. On the palate flavors of peach and melon with lemon citrus and savory notes. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak and minerality. Nice! — 3 years ago

Bodegas Poesia

Reserva Clos des Andes Mendoza Malbec 2016

Essentially a Bordeaux expression of Malbec. Cassis, dry blackberries. The mid palate is dry- not a bad thing, just wonder if this needs to be a Malbec. — 4 years ago

Ferrari-Carano

Sonoma County Chardonnay 2016

Family-owned and operated since 1985. Found a ‘16 vintage in my cellar. Grapes sourced from several vineyards, complex aromas of fruits, citrus & sweet spice. On the palate ripe fruits, apple, pear and peach with lemon citrus and vanilla adding toasty oak. French oak aging, great balance, lingering ending with toasty oak finish. I continue to have this wine as a staple in my cellar for a number of years. Enjoy! Great value, compared to Chards costing more! — 6 years ago

Descendientes de José Palacios

Pétalos Bierzo Mencía 2013

Grabbed a bottle I had in my cellar. Nice blend of 4 grapes from the Bierzo Valley. Deep red color with Lighter edges with tons of Berry fruit on the nose adding some sweet floral spice. The smooth soft palate shows cherries, raspberries, and blueberries with a mineral tang. Well balanced with integrated dusty tannins, lively acidity and a smokey dry finish that lingers nicely, excellent structure. Tremendous value. — 9 years ago
