There's not a lot of Chardonnay out there in my opinion that can put this one in its place. Heintz vineyard, with botrytis rot on the grapes as it arrives (by choice), and yet it turns into this incredibly floral, complex dry chardonnay. 200 case production. — 5 years ago
Rather liked this one. Drake it at the bar at the Wine Steward and brought a bottle home. — 6 years ago

No idea how long this wine was open, but probably was for an hour before I got there today. This wins the youthful fruit award (even beats the 13 Amici). This wine is massive, and displays a lot of ample chalky blackberry fruit, vanilla, and some lavender. The middle is darker, and finishes with good length, good acidity, excellent structure, and great balance. Was going to open the 2009 to compare, but will instead save this for another day. I'd say that this wine is undoubtedly on the rise, therefore the proper place for this one is in the cellar! But, we were CURIOUS, OK??? If you absolutely, positively HAVE to drink this one now, do it with a lot of decant time!! — 7 years ago
I’m loving the aromatics on this rosato from Veneto, Italy! 🇮🇹
@lulu_lara_g I can see (and taste) why you enjoyed it so much and agree there is a lot to unpack here! 🤔🧐
It’s comprised of 100% Rondinella grapes, native to Italy. This variety is a common blending partner in the red wines of Valpolicella and Bardolina. 🍇 Here it’s holding its own at center stage with notable florals on the nose, including elderflower, rose, and chamomile, alongside fruit notes of starfruit, cantaloup, raspberry, grapefruit pith, fresh herbal notes of chervil and fennel, and wet stone. 🌹
On the palate, it’s dry, has medium acidity, medium alcohol, and medium intensity in flavors. Flavors are largely consistent with the nose, but I’m also tasting Smarties candies -- both sweet and tart/tangy at the same time. It brings me back.

Dark fruit aromatics, tastes of pepper, cigar box, currant, with a wonderful velvet finish that lingered for a while. — 5 years ago
All the Barolo wines are delicious. The Tre Amici is art in a bottle. Very good finish and loved by all my dinner guests. Definitely buy this wine. — 6 years ago
An evening spent with John Harris of Amici Cellars. Passed Hors d'ouevres, a 4-course dinner, and some delicious wines.
Passed Hors d'oeuvres: Salmon, beets, sorrel, rose water, raspberry and pink peppercorn. Paired with the 2017 Rosé Côtes de Provence. (Hors d'ouevres not featured in photo. The food in the photo was the final course comprised of mignardis served with the Côtes de Provence, as well.) — 6 years ago
E’ molto popolare tra noi. E’ equibilibrato, perfetto per la cena. I miei amci lo hanno preso da Warehouse wine enoteca. Lo vogliamo di nuovo ancora. Vi piaciono i miei amici molto. — 3 years ago
Nice medium body and a smooth finish that lingers nicely for just a bit. — 5 years ago
Edged out Amici in the fact that this one is very bright and acidic from the top and keeps on developing. Bright, bright front of lemon and limestone. Middle is dense and almost has a tangerine, lemon, pineapple kind of line to it. Finish was less expressive and while the 14 Amici is weighted to the back, this is weighted to the front. This will continue to develop over the next 3 to 5 years. — 6 years ago
