Light and refreshing, the obscure Albillo grape! — 3 years ago
Waxy candied citrus. Wet gravel. Had a ‘14 several years ago but don’t remember it much. Fun to see your wine spidey senses evolve, or at least I like to think so. Found out today that the winemakers who crafted this wine have since ceased making wine. That is a bummer. — 4 years ago

When cool, was mineral and fresh with dark fruit flavors. As it warmed, got a little alcoholic and out-of-balance. (At 14% abv) — 6 years ago
One of the finest Spanish white wines I’ve had in a long time, it is 100% Albillo from vineyards in La Aguilera. Fermented and aged in oak for almost 3 years. Mineral, flinty smell of recently struck matches and gunpowder, reminiscent of some white Burgundies. Fresh, very complex, great acidity. Spectacular — 3 years ago
A blend of Listán Blanco (Palomino) and several other native varieties - Malvasía, Forastera, Marmajuelo, Albillo Criollo, Vijariego Blanco and Gual – from various parcels in the village of Taganana in the north of Tenerife, each plot vinified separately. Fermented in concrete open vats (with short skin-macerations) and partially aged in steel (40%) and 228 and 600-liter oak barrels (60%) for about 8 months. Sea breeze, bitter orange and lightly oxidized notes on the nose. Complex, mineral, precise. Nice saltiness, long finish — 3 years ago

Eesh, don’t remember this one in Madrid. At Pazo?? — 6 years ago
Field blend or co-fermented, contains some white varieties. Much more floral and lifted than other RdDs I know— very welcome shift. Alcohol 14% but not noticeable. — 3 years ago

Very subtle and perhaps it received to little attention. — 4 years ago
Great Albillo. Tropical, zesty, quite reductive, subtle oak. Maybe lacks acidity a little bit. Nonetheless great. — 4 years ago
I had 2013 and I am impressed. Light, fruity and every pleasant. — 5 years ago
Oxidized. Pale orange color. Honey and yeast and caramel apple with wet leaves and damp wood. A real treat, like a dry sherry with more savory depths. — 6 years ago
