Peppery and moody. Loved it. — 8 years ago
This wine is moody but deep down has just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors shift and is a pleasant experience all the way to the end. Making you wish it wasn’t over for a mere $13. 👌🏻 — 8 years ago
Nose - forest floor, wood, tobacco, moss. Main flavors - stewed plum and light baking spices. A bit of tannic structure but overall smooth and earthy. Like no Pinot noir I’ve ever had. Tremendous! Read the James Suckling review and he has it right it’s moody. But I think moody in the best possible way. — a year ago
Nose of classical dark, moody grape.
Twigs and branches blackberry bramble Woody bits and all. High acidity - for the age amazing. I cannot imagine how acidic this wine was when it was released, because of how beautifully it is drinking now. A touch of bitterness on the back, the tiniest flaw.

Smells of bright raspberry caramels.
How interesting.
bright fruits hit the tongue first - pomegranate fruit and seed, raspberry, both a bit unripe as it’s all highlights, and nothing dark, deep, or moody. Zippy jolly rancher green acidity to wrap it up.
A perfect Monday wine, really..

Dried violets blue plums moody...moods. Agianico is a dark haired vixen who winks at you then ever so lightly punches your arm, laughing. Dark wine sarcastic soul. Balsamic vinegar and prunes. Tannic thunder kept in check. By ripe and dried fruits sturdy and whimsically profound. — 8 years ago

Dark haired arms. My bad. On spelling & misread your review
Previously had this one - good but not great. Moody teenager @ 13 yrs. Whole different story this time. Badass. Double decant. Drank slightly chilled. Heavy oak / vanilla upfront, but this mellowed with time in glass as it gradually unfurled. Great nose. Medium body. Mellow. Baking spice on the finish. Lovely. Wish I had more.... — 8 years ago
Deep, complex, quite moody. This wine waxes philosophic with thick notes of chili powder, vanilla, blueberry, and hoisin sauce. Jammed blackberries and blueberries too. — 4 years ago
A dark, moody & broody, full-bodied red that will leave you in a state of black-fruited bliss. — 5 years ago
Work comes early tomorrow, so slow cooked tomato adobo, shrimp, grits and Chardonnay for my “Sunday” night. My first white wine from Scribe is fresh from a mailing list I certainly cannot afford to personally be a member of.
Gangly only a year out of the bottle but certainly gulpable in its lightness. Very light fruit, but a moody Meyer lemon unctuousness prevails on a crisp, slightly leesy palate— perfect for an umami seafood dish. — 6 years ago
Beautiful purple color, with cherry, raspberry, blueberry, saddle, and vanilla on the nose. Slightly dry with medium tannins, with notes of black olives and sun dried tomatoes. Dark and moody. — 7 years ago
If this bottle was single I’d be the desperate guy at the bar trying to take her home. Man, what a surprise! You think girl next door normal but one day you get suddenly blind sided and don’t know what you’ve been missing this whole time.
I normally hate garnacha but my god, this is a complex, moody, dark and difficult wine. Plays hard to get, if you know what I mean. Tobacco, earth, but lots of fruit and floral notes. This bottle is driving me wild. — 8 years ago

One of my fav Mont. D’abruzzo’s. Don’t let the cheapness make you think otherwise. Dark, dry, “moody”. $12.99 — 8 months ago
