Needs growth time and patience. Super young and a tad all over the place. Flavors all over the place but after time tobacco and cherry start to emerge. Needs 3-7 more years of age to fully become one of the better super Tuscans — 11 years ago

2012 enjoyed in April 2015. Dark ruby in color with a slight sunset around the edge. Chalky/earth & plum jam nose. Soft tannins and a slight chewy fruit... finish gives you a little jawlock with every taste. Takes an hour or two to open up. Great value at $14 bucks (HEB R/S) — 11 years ago

Deep ruby red with some garnet edges. Powerful still on the nose and palate. Tons of baking spices on the nose, especially cinnamon, dark red berries, and a touch savory. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Layers of spices and dark red berries on the palate. Long and lingering finish. Great structure and still has life left in it. Drink till 2022. — 9 years ago
