So, how does this wine compare with a California merlot?
I've only had a few CA merlots, and I'll admit I don't think I've had enough Merlot to really speak knowledgeably on it, but I would say I definitely prefer this one to the CA versions I've had.
You might want to check out a Schafer Merlot. Very good wine

@Ron R @Eli Barton I've had this as well and have always enjoyed it. Don't give up on it....
I absolutely love this Pinot, to me it's of excellent quality and offers wonderful dark fruit notes and a pleasurable nose.
