Valentine’s Day dinner. Straw-yellow color with fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas, and notes of minerals and peach. A dry, medium-bodied wine with fresh acidity. Well-balanced, elegant and with good complexity and persistence.

Light straw. Aroma of confectioner glaze, lemon curd, slight lime and wax. Zippy, mouthwatering acidity, mineral, long chalky finish.

When I opened this bottle yesterday, it was PERFECT. Floral, a little unctuous, eminently quaffable. I just poured a glass and have discovered that it must NOT be over chilled or it gets thin and bitter. Bring it up a few degrees and the flowers start to prep thru again. Can’t rate it as highly as I would have, but still a nice Arneis. Purchased at Zupans
