An Etna Rosso DOC, blend of 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio, deep Ruby, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fed fruits, herbs and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, strawberry and red plum with pepper spice and herbs with a mineral tone. Medium+ finish, fine tannins, ending with fruit and a smoky earthy character. Nice value!

NOSE: barely there…tiniest whiff of red fruit….dried cherry?
TASTE: light bodied, dried cherry and currant, a little clay … nice acidity …. elegant, but a little simple. I like it - but no way worth what I paid. 89.

Dry. Flavors of red cherry, cinnamon, clove, orange zest. Medium, firm tannins. Lovely!

Bright ruby color that you can see through quite easily. Aromas of wild red berries, ash, minerals and lemon zest. Pallet is full of red berry fruit flavors with additional notes of mushrooms, wet stones, asphalt and wild herbs. Nice Smokey note on the long finish. Medium bodied and full of acidity.
