Not like the '10. But still a good burgundy.

Proof that there are still a few good value wines in #Burgundy.

Diner chez Cyrille Lignac a Paris. Outstanding cuisine. The wine is one of the most perfumed Pintos we had in some time. Tell tale floral and spicy notes, medium body and medium length, Thibault always does wines that punch above their weight. This is Premier Cru quality for a fraction of the price tag. Wait if you can, or do yourself a favor and drink it. Highly recommended !!

I know 2011 wasn't a terrific year for Burgundies, and this Pinot noir was just not quite there yet for me. A few years in the cellar will do this wine some good. Lengthy, blackberry, spice, raspberry, plum as is true to the style of Cote de Nuits as well as lots of that Burgundy minerality. Rich, dry, and full. Not a particularly aromatic wine, especially when first opening. Allowing it to breathe for a few minutes and swirling vigorously could do the trick.
