Earthy mushroom and dark chocolate on the nose. Dark cherry, blackberry and currant fruit flavors with hints of truffle, vanilla, cocoa and grilled herbs. Soft tannins and very long finish. Rich and ripe, but quite rustic. Reminded me more of a Super Tuscan (compliment) than a Napa Cab. Qualifies as a Cab but actually more of a Bordeaux Blend. (82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc with the balance made up of other Bordeaux varieties.)

We had the 2010 Vintage on 8/2/19. An unmistakable Napa Cab with tastes of Cassis, blueberry and blackberry. A lighter texture but no tannin. A good buy for the price.

Very average. Not sure what score average gets, but for me it’s 8.7. Decent nose, but lacks depth, fruit, and finish. Lots of oak and chocolate that can’t overcome this wine’s lack of fruit and blandness.
