PnP. Dark red color with purple tints. Big, dark fruit with some medicinal elements on the nose. Plums, blackberries, and tons of oak on the palate. Big wine with medium plus depth. Medium plus finish with lots of oak and alcohol. Puckering finish. Different and somewhat better than expected. — 3 months ago
Exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. At 9 years old it was perfectly balanced with fruit forward and deep ruby color. Lovely lingering berry flavor on the palate. Paired well with red meat and a variety of food. Drank May 2023. — 6 months ago
That’s US CS. A bit traditional French style. Complexity. @13365, Pieroth, 231117 — 19 days ago
Continues to be one of the better sequoia grove reds. Earthy and balanced and it took harsh or tannic. — 2 months ago
Favorite that still delivers. Oaky and round and full but not too much. — a month ago
Lemon color, med+ acidity, med+ body aromas grapefruit and melon. The semillon adds creamy, maybe even a waxy flavor. Hard to put down. $30? — 3 months ago
Above average but lots of dark fruit. Preferring this less than in the past. Thought some of the fruit would have mellowed to earthiness with the aging but no. Not as good if a value as it once was. Sad. — 6 months ago
