Nov 28th, 2024Wow. Did not expect this one to be nearly this approachable at this point: the wine is fantastic. Seriously elevated character to the mourvedre in this one - maybe moreso than any other mourvedre-driven wine from Justin that I’ve had in a while - this is incredibly balanced with sweet, bright brambleberries on the nose and palate. Perfect acidity (at cellar temp - gets a bit flabby at room temp), with a full mouthfeel and a silky, lingering finish. Just terrific.
