Some wines have this ability to somehow glow on the palate. This one was a big yellow neon sign in the shape of a lemon, with a tiny pineapple on top, dripping with acidity and the barest whiff of butterscotch on the breeze. Intense, and wonderfully balanced between richness and the taut acidity.

Fruit forward Sonoma coast chard, tasty but a bit of bite from alcohol

Great acidity and super tropical fruit at this early stage, promising so I think this will be interesting to follow over the next few years.

2014 Vintage. My first of this vintage, it's a bit more tropical than the '13 and doesn't quite have as much weight. The vineyard sources are fairly different for this vintage and I think it shows. Will give these a little time in the cellar to fatten up.

This is always so good. I don’t know of a better appellation Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.

Great QPR. Orchard and pit fruits make up this consistently good wine.

Rivers me any day. TRB owns appellation QPR. Grand statements aside, I had this bottle a year ago and I still feel it needs some time for the acid/oak to meld. Almost hasn’t changed in a year. Super enjoyable nonetheless. Update after an hour of air: much more together!
