Great, delicious as always. Ramey never fails to hit the spot. Dark red colors, medium bodied, plenty of earth and tobacco, a touch of ripe blackberry but certainly a lot of oak and vanilla.

Yes, another Napa cab.
My wife has taken me as a hostage. But my ransom isn’t too much, hence the Ramey tonight. And she’s not even here to blame for my choice.
The nose presents nice oak treatment, along with spice box. Palate shows ripe, fresh fruits, medium tannins, and moderate acidity. Great extraction, without being overly done. This is a well moderated example of the varietal.

Totally agree w @Ron R in terms of previous tasting notes. A great bottle that presents elegantly and packs more depth than you’d expect at first taste.

Oct 23rd, 2020Bought at YO Steakhouse Dallas. Notes of cherry on the nose. Nice mouth feel. Tobacco and cherry flavors. Very nice with steak.

R - bloodbag
N - raw tabac, pencil shavings, slightly confected note like maybe violet candies, chocolate cherries, autumn leaves, bit of wood like spices and cigs.
B - silky, peppers, not particularly fruit-like. Plums, mincemeat, packaged blackberries which are far more sweet than tart.
