Tart cherries and strawberries on the palate with some spices. Medium bodied and fairly balanced tannins/acid. A rich Pinot, I find Pisoni to be very consistent in profile from year to year. Which to me is a great thing. Very good wine.

Aug 6th, 2017Always a favorite and holding its own despite following a big Oakville cab tonight. Full-bodied, tea and spice on the nose, berries on the palate. Well-integrated tannins and a polished mouthfeel. Delicious. Popped and allowed 45 mins in glass only.

From magnum...This 2010 is in a great place right now. Started off a bit tight and muted but over the next hour plus, it really began to shine... Lovely nose of dark cherries, violets and crushed flowers. Boy what a wine and the best domestic Pinot noir I've had in a long time.

From Magnum. Earthy, sweet with that unmistakable SLH funk. Really drinking well -- great finish.
