Last night we opened the 2018 Paolo Scavino Barolo Enrico Scavino.
On the nose there was raspberry, cherry, strawberry, plum, anise, roses, herbs, clay pots and dusty earth.
On the palate we had beautiful notes of raspberry, cherry, plum, strawberry, anise, cedar, herbs and earth.
This wine is medium bodied brightly on the sweet side and smooth medium + acidity and medium + fine smooth mouthcoating tannins that leads to a medium+ to long red fruit dusty earth finish.
