Reductive upon opening. Almond paste, marzipan, baking spices, toasted marcona almond, meaty and smoky… (mouse????). Tart apricot (faint), bruised apple, iron, orange peel, bright yellow color though. Tangy acidity of very high levels kinda sticking out a bit searing. Rather briny and saline on the palate. Tannic on the finish. Not sure it will improve. Bone dry.

Pale, light and precise. Subtle and super clean. Very pure and sexy. Oyster shells, hints of peach. Really subtle but balanced and sophisticated. Reminds me of Raveneau in style. Gorgeous and perfect with oysters

The current release of this bottling. Always superb, and hard to find a better pairing with sushi. Long decant.
