So I've wanted to try any Joly wine (especially CdS) for some time and Chris was incredibly generous to share.
It was worth the wait. Not because it was spectacular. It was good (see the rating) but not overwhelming. But it IS interesting. And as a white wine guy, I'll walk a mile to tastes Chenin that doesn't conform to expectations.

Looks like cognac in a wine glass. Smells like marshmallow, white truffle, or perhaps it's white mushroom and black truffle or perhaps it's granite that's been steeped in jasmine tea and truffly caramel squeezed by a ninja-juicer into my wine glass. Either way, it is good, and weird, and good.
