Located just South of Forest Grove, Oregon on a 585-acre wine estate overlooked by a grand Victorian mansion. Light Ruby with aromas of sweet red fruits and gentle floral notes, aged 10 months in 50% French & 50% Hungarian oak (12% new). On the palate strawberry and ripe cherry flavors with pepper and cedar spice. Sweet savory tannins, nicely balanced with good structure, medium finish ending with mineral tones. Great value!

Delicious! Very fragrant with balance of earthiness and strawberries. Light and drinkable.

My complicated relationship with Oregon Pinot continues. I love the beginning of this. Some dirt and rustic tannins getting far beneath the ground. Mid palate is the typical raspberry cherry tartness and a moderately spicy finish. I liked this a bit more than I was expecting, honestly. Still have so much trouble with the acidic berry flavor though.

Pale purple. Aromatic. Surprising taste. Not fruity or sweet. Old world style. Strikingly sour entry with very soft tannins make this light bodied wine very succulent with a bit of burn on the finish. Montinore Estate's "Red Cap" Pinot Noir. The most affordable wine from this wonderful producer. Willamette Valley, Oregon. 13% alcohol. Certified organic. Certified biodynamic grapes. Sadly, it fades a little in the glass. Still, a wonderful wine for the price. $19.00

Straightforward Oregon Pinot. Bright red fruit and potting soil. Touch of cloves. Paired with mushroom pizza. A crowd pleaser from a good year.
