Unforgettable and held up like a champ. Ripe golden apple, macadamia nuts and brioche. Does it deserve 100 points ...you bet. Whether it’s the bottle age or the vintage this was one of the more memorable bottles of Cristal I’ve ever had @dempsysteakhouse

Open for business. Sweet lemon, hints of corn, some salinity. Very expressive on the midpalate with secondary notes coming through towards the end. Biscuits and honey. Great acidity throughout. Years ahead.

So the Fevre Clos bottles were going down quickly and the conversation turned to Champagne. A guest stated her favorite was Cristal and I happened to have a bottle in the ready to drink bin. Light gold with nice mousse when poured that gives a smile-inducing bouquet in the nose. Notes of lemon and sweet citrus, brioche bread, some apricot, some almond and white chalk. Expands in the mouth, coating everything it hits. Hold it in a bit and your face goes flush. Everyone really enjoyed this bottle which is drinking very well now but will certainly evolve and improve with more age.

Pale light yellow gold. Lively constant tiny bubbles. Deep round nose with high pitched fruit. Notes of pear, grapefruit, chalk and limestone. With more air you find some citrus and honeysuckle. Chewy in the mouth with great mouthfeel. Coats the entire mouth. Long finish lingers a minute or more. Velvet. Killer juice. Was inspired to open one of these after seeing a friend’s TN this weekend. Glad I did.

Wow, bright, citrus, mineral, Bosc pear, I think this was 99-100pts by someone. If I had to choose I prefer DP

Cause it's my job to drink wine. Sooo not unhappy about this one - fresh fresh fresh as a daisy! Beautifully precise (laser focused) acid, light wildflower honey on the nose... killer vintage... beaut now but will be even better in 5-10...

Not as good as previous bottles a little muted aromatically but the palate was fine . Maybe slightly corked .
