Beautiful aromas of red fruit, purple flowers and earth. Bright cherry and strawberry fruit flavors with notes of truffle and just a touch of baking spices. Crunchy texture and medium body. Elegant and bold. Beautiful acidity. This Beaujolais has filled out nicely with a little bit of bottle age.

A week after 2019, we taste 2018. Quite similar in the design. With another year, it begin to express, notes of evolution tending towards Pinot-noir and this slightly truffled flavour, dried flowers. Delicacy.

Une semaine après le 2019, on goûte le 2018. Assez semblable dans la conception. Avec un an de plus commencent à s’exprimer au nez et en bouche, des notes d’évolution tendant vers le pinot noir et ce côté légèrement truffé, fleurs séchées qui apporte à la gourmandise une certaine délicatesse.

Crisp, spicy, tart, clean finish red. Good for early fall drinking - medium bodied with mild rustic spices (cloves, cinnamon, black pepper) and fresh berries. short but clean finish. Solid value.

Superb entry-level cuvée 13-14 €. The know-how is felt (silky mouth). A Morgon as we like: both light (Gamay grape) with roundness, and a certain aromatic intensity which makes the charm of this appellation producing gourmet wines. We will wait for more complexity and length of prestigious Desvignes cuvées (which cost double) this one is just immediate pleasure. To buy by case
