Lots going on in the nose and mouth, but very flabby and disjointed. Nose is so feral, with barnyard and intense minerality taking the lead. In the mouth, though, it’s very hot and a little scorchy. Yes, it has nice fruit, but still. Lots of components but they just don’t fit together well in a package. Freakin’ 15s.

Nose is a bit mute. Some heat, not much focus. Juicy and lacking energy. Maybe will improve with air. Good fruit but lacks focus and is hot.

An intoxicating nose and a palate that’s spicy at first, but starts to go away after 45 minutes of air. Still quite young, so it’s still tight, but easy to drink and easy to enjoy!

Needs air to open up, bit once it does it gives off scents of exotically spiced cherry syrup (if that’s a thing), cracked granite, and pound cake. More focused and possessing more tension than most of the four-square ‘15s I’ve had, it’s still pretty full bodied, and has some tannin to resolve in the darkly-minerally finish. Very distinctive!

Black cherry all over the nose and palate. Ripe- signature 2015 Cru Beaujolais. Powerful fruit in is in front of the structure right now. Approachable and delicious in youth.

Hard to know what to make of this wine. Rich, broad, sappy, but also with fresh, lifted, typical Beaujolais characters

Inky nose. Smells very ripe but also dull. Huge cherry. Some spice. Expressive but more blunt than ethereal. Even jumbled. Palate is more jumbled. Really thin, and almost like it refermented? Like a flat soda thing. But also chemical. This is not correct. No rating as this is majorly flawed. Refermented is my call
