Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Blend of about mostly Sangiovese with 3% Syrah & 15% Canaiolo Nero, aged in large oak casts. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black and red fruit adding tobacco and herb pepper spice nuances. On the palate flavors of blackberries and cherries, savory with licorice notes. Fine tannins, full body, nice balance, long finish ending with herb and fruit mineral character.

Great daily drinker. Nice strawberry and blackberry with a nice rustic background.

Thinner than some vintages and a bit rustic. Loads of pretty cherries. Still a very good value.

Sunday in Chianti with Haley and Stefano🍷

Loads of lifted but dark fruit: blackberries, plums, cherries, rose and a herbal lavender/rosemary quality. Elegant and nicely balanced overall. Really shining on day two. Love.

Last of the my Mohicans, but at 10 yrs everything is balanced and integrated with smooth silky tannins. Tricky cork extraction but I wouldn’t recommend leaving it too long before you drink this vintage.
It’s terrific when you find a wine that is really singing and hitting the high notes

We had a 2016, which was a great year, with a roast chicken and it slapped.

Crimson colour with flavours of sour cherries and brambles.
In a nice drinking time frame.
Integrated tannins with fruit and acidity balance.

In a great spot!

Excellent Chianti Classico. Nice bite on the finish.
