Tawny rim showing aged appearance. The varnishy wood apparent once again - more obvious in lighter bodied reds like this and Pinot Noir. In Barrels for 3 years. Showing signs of premature ageing.

One of the best wines I've had all year. Russo continues to impress.

Quite meaty and smokey, a definite gamey finish with a hint of chocolate but still with some delicate aromas coming through, delicious.

Perfection. Burgundian and supremely elegant. Giuseppe Russo pours all his devotion into this wine. A favorite!

Oh yeah. Medium minus, but complex. Cherries and wet soil on the nose. Super zingy immediately on the palate. Beautiful elegant finish. A bit sterile-tasting but otherwise awesome
