Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Bright red-brick clear color; nose is dominated by flower petals and scented liquid soap, potpourri sort of, likely from new oak, which obscures other flavors like fruit; medium-everything on the palate, with unexceptional overall taste.

So aromatic. Floral. Delicious

N:Bloody and scrub brush, Toscana, meat, cherries. Very floral. The essence of deep brick red.
P: Acid, chewy, meaty, preserved cherries, bark( as if chewing on a stick), tannic, deliciousness.

Medium bodied, classic Sangiovese. Imported by Pilsner who always has a lively selection of wines. Cherry plum smooth. Goes well with all Italian foods. A winner will definitely buy more

Enjoyed this wine. A more expensive Chianti but you get what you pay for. Nicely balanced, strawberry and raspberry notes. Would definitely buy again.

Lighter in body than typical Felsina CC. Needed 2 hours of air. Black and sour cherry fruit. Some earth. Sappy and tasty.

Tart plum with lots of tannins. Went very well with our stuffed shell bolognese! Great intro to the Chiantis for me

A boatload of grip, more skin contact than I would prefer. Well made but would prefer rounder edges
