Black raspberry, licorice, mint, wild mushrooms and damp earth- flavors that seem to emanate from deep in a forest. A tad reduced initially. Very savory character to this wine that will take some time to unwind. Some fruit is revealing itself in the back but this will no doubt be a bit too stern and austere for some. Amazing potential.

Translucent garnet / purple, cherries, raspberries, candied rhubarb, cedar and lavender. Sappy but not heavy. Must have been a challenge to control ripeness in 2015 in Oregon but this succeeds pretty admirably

It is Friday night and I have opened the 2015 Evening Land Seven Springs Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir.

On the nose there is beautiful red fruit cherry, cranberry, raspberry, ripe tomato, sassafras, cinnamon, mint and a bit of funk

On the palate the red fruit continues through with cherry, raspberry, cranberry, red currant, spice, minerality and earth notes.

This wine is medium to full body with medium acidity and medium fine tannins that lead to a medium to long clean finish. We start another weekend with fun and family so please be safe and enjoy yourselves. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

A whiff of VA, orange peel, tart cherries, fresh cranberries, fennel, clove, sanguine, and damp forest floor. Searing acidity.

Stemmy cherries. One of my favorite Pinots year in and year out.

Very nice wine. But simple. Nice juicy strawberry in nose n taste but not the complexity nor length I seek.
